I just looked it up.

When the Kings trailed after the first period, they lost 28/31 games.

When the Kings trailed after the second period, they lost 39/41 games.

When the Kings lead after the first period, they won 13/15 games.

When the Kings lead after the second period, they won 20/24 games.

Losing going into the 3rd for half of the games. Pretty stellar.

Somehow doesn't seem that much different from 2018, although maybe that was trailing after the 1st in 71 of 82 games.

Man, that in studio crew couldn't homer the bruins any harder if they piped Jack Edwards' feed in. Good grief, that was embarrassing.

What a game though. Blues. Do it.

I'm glad Im not the only one who noticed the insane amount of Bruin love during the broadcast. Despicable

If the Blues can finish this it's another kick in the balls to the Sharks fans during the Thornton era.

2007- Ducks win cup before Sharks
2010- Chicago wins first cup in 40+ years, eliminating the Sharks along the way.
2012- Kings win first cup in team history after 40+ years
2014- Kings win second cup in 3 years coming back from 0-3 to eliminate the Sharks along the way.
2018- Capitals win first cup in team history after 40+ years
2019- Blues win first cup in team history after 50+ years, eliminating the Sharks in the WCF. ???

2018 would have been even more hilarious if Vegas could have somehow won.

So if the Blues win the Cup, do we put an asterisk next to their name because of the non call yesterday?

There has been some horseshit officiating this playoff.

Regardless, hope the Blues take it on Sunday.

Boston didn't play very inspired hockey last night. St. Louis wanted it more and got a huge break with the officiating.

I'm still pulling for the Bruins and think the no-call on the GWG was awful, but all the *****ing about that missed call is really making me hate their fans right now.

Blues made it here in spite of a game being "stolen" from them in a previous round, no reason you can't do the same.

I guess I'm the minority here, but that's not a call in the highest level of the land, in the finals, he's engaged with a Bruin already, and Acciardi is simply collateral damage, there was nowhere for Bozak to go, it's almost the definition of incidental contact.....Bruins should be pissed at anyone, should be themselves.

I said this when the Sharks got their 5 minute major. It was an awful call, but it doesn't mean that the Sharks were gifted 4 goals. Same logic applies here. Just because it was a bad (non)call doesn't mean that the Blues were gifted a goal.

So not only was that their third consecutive win in overtime, but the Kings came back from two-goal deficits in Game 7 against Chicago and in games 1 and 2 against the Rangers.

Notice who was in front of the net on the Kings second and third goals, and some people say Dwight King wasn't a useful player.
