No, but he probably won't play again until at least Oct 18th. That gives him basically 2 weeks to heal up, as long as it isn't the same sort of injury from 2 years ago. Although he also missed like 5 weeks in 2013. So, probably November. You never know with the elderly.

What did waiting to trade Carter get the Kings? Less value, and that's if they move him at all. Luc is going to ride this rocket all the way into the ground. Now is the time to deploy the parachute for a softer landing.

The Kings didn't need a bona fide 2C over the last few years, because the Kings were not contenders. All they have done is delay the inevitable.

Carter, Toffoli, Muzzin, Lewis, Martinez and Pearson should all be on the block.. Kopitar, Doughty and Quick are your core for various reasons, Amadio, Kempe, Wagner, Brinkley, Iafallo and JAD are all much needed cheap contracts... You want complete again then you need to trim the fat and either use the assets acquired to draft properly or add a legit impact player like a Panarin and go from there...
