Someone else pointed out Bergie and Marchand got their share of praise, and I agree. But seriously, Crosby has been the best player on the ice consistently.

Oh and even though I've been a B's fan for 40 years, if I am being objective?

Crosby > Bergeron

Yr blowing my mind, dude

Nice to hear Chara is done has been greatly exaggerated

If he can get minutes reduced and stay healthy can be a top pair one last time

Boston's top 4 left side is pretty good and balanced with Chara & Krug

Both healthy will go a long way to home ice in first round

These two, Krejci & Rask are key

Your optimism knows no bounds.

Home ice? Chara top pair dman?

Sure hope you somehow end up right on all this stuff.

What a pathetic result for Sweden. While I never thought their forward lineup was that great, with the talent they had on the back end they should have been able to generate more. And where was the urgency? I think their coach sucked all the life out of them with his style of play.

That was the one quality I always felt Eriksson lacked. Smart player, good hands, long stick... when he's on his game he's a very good player but I never felt like he had that sense of urgency or desperation to his game. A lot of "smooth" players get that knock and maybe it's a little unfair but there are times when you want to see a little explosiveness, a little extra jam.

Chara and Krug as your top 2 LHD could be a lot worse

And as the Hockey News said...psst. The Bruins defense isn't that bad

Also and sadly my finest moments on HF was in March 2011 when a civil war broke out here after consecutive drubbings to Toronto & Montreal demanding firings of Julien and Chiarelii, Thomas nothing but a career minor leaguer, trying to win playing Johnny Boychuk in the top 4:laugh::laugh::laugh: (ok he was scratched but...)

I was told dillusional by some and voice of calm by those with a clue

I admit not seeing a Cup but the negativity like now was way overblown

Only on this board do I find the negativity certainly not anywhere else and talking to multiple Bruins beat, blog, Media personnel the past two weeks at my trips to the new facility they were in step what the Bruins are building is the right way. I just chock this up to The IG Generation. I live with it lol

Bottom line it's not just me

What's the IG generation? A subset of the MEllinials?

Gotta say I'm happy for an old warrior like Seids getting this chance to show the hockey world he can still play and be an effective D-man.

There has to be a team out there who sees what he's done and believes he can help them out. 3rd pairing guy who has won, can play both sides. Sounds like he wants a contract and not a PTO. I hope he gets it.

Crosby, up to Bergeron, across to Marchand, and in.

Pretty magical stuff these three have done thus far.

You really went out on a limb with this one

I know, right? Seems obvious, has always seemed obvious to me.

But it also seems that occasionally I've heard folks say Bergeron is the best all around forward in the league, he or Toews . Not true. That's all. Glad I have you a chuckle though.

Yep, going to be another long year for Z. He's simply just not good anymore.

On the plus side, he showed surprising speed for an almost 40-year old 6'9 D-man before he had his pocket picked.

Z's biggest problem for years has always been he tries to do too much sometimes instead of just letting the game come to him and pick his spots better. He tried to make something out of nothing there. He was never that guy, even in his prime.

Canada needs to get Burns off the power play. Major bonehead moves. Although there were a lot of guys at fault on this one. It's like they all shut their brains off. :help:
