Geez, Ladue (RH) is probably as good as a lot of the options.
Too bad he didn't turn pro last year and have a year in Ontario
already. He may have had a shot.
Too bad that Gravel or even Forbort are not RH.
Good for Ladue and Cernak, (both RH) they have a chance to

Know it likely won't be the case and if the last offer was what the Kings did not sure I want 6X6.
But would be funny if he waited till tomorrow and did what Stamkos did yesterday. Resign with the team he was with.

If that does end up happening I fret that we're going to be having the same discussions about Lucic as we are having right now about Brown (and to a degree Gaborik).
I worry about his longevity as a player.
And a reporter out of Vancouver is stating that the Canucks are out of the Lucic race.

I tend to agree. Which is why I was fine at hearing DL was sticking to his guns at 4-5 years max.
I think the Gaborik talk is way too early. Any leg injury takes time to come back and be yourself. Heck Pearson didn't start to look the same until near the end of the year. And he was a heck of a lot younger.

If NHLNumbers is correct then with Greene being bought out we should have roughly 9.4 million in cap spsce. Which is enough to bring back Lucic. Who i dont think is going to end up like Brown and Richards .

Cap friendly has us with 7.9M. Hate not having cap geek that was almost always accurate and up to date.

I do not think dollars were the issue...Lucic wanted 8 yrs and the Kings offered 4.

That seems to be the most accurate, I don't understand where generalfanager is getting the additional $1.125M worth of defenseman on top of Doughty, Muzzin, Martinez, Scuderi, McNabb and Gravel. The difference in the forward group is caused by cap friendly including Mersch, while generalfanager doesn't.
If Lucic doesn't see a deal out there he likes, term wise and team wise, he may settle on the Kings best offer. I don't think he's the kind of guy that wants to linger in the off-season waiting for the perfect offer.

I also wouldnt be surprised to see him get a NMC of some sort for his family's sake.
Both are obviously sticking points for the Kings.

Yeah im not sure if that is correct or if there is something we dont know but NHlNumbers is usually reliable for me throughout the past several years .

Wonder if the Kings will have interest in Carle or Wisniewski? I think both could be good fits for the right term and salary. I would prefer Wisniewski more and he's a right dman.
