WJC: 2016 — Czech Republic Roster Talk

Me too... The thing is, even if some Bruin got injured, they aren't calling Pastrnak up, he isn't ready for that yet. No idea why it's taking so goddamn long.

Yeah that's a good point. The only thing I can think of is if they're waiting to make sure he's fit enough to go. They don't want to risk him being injured again? But he's still playing AHL so yeah I don't get it.
 
Fantastic news about Masin! He's very important to our team. Not surprised about Pyrochta. He wasn't that good.
And dang I wanted Pastrnak for Russia. As long as we have him for Finland :)
 
I know it's little off topic, but I try to set lines for next year and I guess next year it will be team of decade ;-) Ten players are in team this year. Plus maybe Klima twins.

Very nice looking goalies, solid defense and forwards are not bad too (would be looking much stronger with Zacha though but I understand that you didn't include him since he most probably will be in the NHL).
Still nothing that much special comapred to other TOP teams but definately a team that could make some noise and should compete for a medal. Especially the defense should be on a competitive level for once - to me the defense looks on paper better than the offense at this time and that hasn't happened for a looong time.

I would definately add in the lineups Ondrej Vala - instead of at least Doudera or Kalina.. also think that Zadina could make the team.
Obviously there will be some surprising players that we are not expecting at this point :)

Haha yeah not a bad line up. Missing high end skill but most of them will be 19 years old. So very experienced group. That top 6 is great. Just hate seeing Lakatos there aha. Not very fond of him. Slim chance Zacha gets to play too. I'm not a believer in rushing prospects to the NHL. Even tho he could be ready, it would be more beneficial for him to play 1 year in the AHL. That way he could get realeased to our team, just like W. Nylander did this year.
 
Sweeney said 28th Decision on Pastrnak will come down early today.I am Bruin fan and want him for classic vs Montreal.But at same time think he would give Czechs one heck of a run at it.Either way all good.
