This is really great to see. No North American players cut. Good sign.
Vopelka being injured really sucks.
Vejmelka out is a bit of a surprise, but I kind of expected that. He's still a great goalie but I wonder if part of the decision of letting him go, was based on his performance in the U-20 4 Nations tournament in November.

Never said he was a bad player...he's a good player but I still would take any of those guys I just mentioned on my team ahead of him: Nylander, Marner, Strome, Matthews, Puljujarvi, or Laine. I said he looked like he underperformed at the world juniors last year...which he did...watch the games for yourself.

you did say he's under-performing though which there is no evidence of

Kase - Zacha - Spacek
Stransky - Chlapik - Vesely
Smejkal - Soustal - Jasek
Lakatos - Tomasek - Ordos
Vozenilek / Cernoch

Zboril - Scotka
Pyrochta - Masin
Hronek - Rasner
Sklenicka

Vanecek
Vladar
Stezka

Assuming no Pasta (fingers crossed).

Is there a deadline to see if Pastrnak is going? The NHL roster freeze is tonight so I would imagine if Boston was gonna let him go the decision would have to be made tonight, otherwise they can't put him on a conditioning loan until after the roster freeze is over I don't think.

Is anyone expecting a decision tonight or am I off with my line of thinking here?

yeah I'm in that pool too. I took him in the 7th round in another, plus Zacha, and Vanecek, plus a better Czech Republic means a better tournament so I'm hoping he gets released.

Vesely on the second line? Gosh I hope our team isn't that bad. I'd put Jasek there instead

Yes, I suppose that's still possible, though they did say a decision was coming after the game and that was the only statement made. They didn't even bring up the tournament, which is how I think they might approach not releasing him if they're worried about blowback.

That happened yesterday before the game to send him down, the tweet said the decision would be made afterwards and we haven't heard anything yet, there's nothing on twitter either so I assume they're still deciding
