WJC: 2016 — Czech Republic Roster Talk

Bruins just said they have not made a decision on whether or not David Pastrnak will play in the World Juniors. He'll play for Providence on Tuesday, and they'll make a decision after that.
 
Bruins are gonna send him 28th is my bet.They contacted Czechs already to see if they still will want him then.Course they said yes.

What Zacha did was pretty stupid, he deserved a suspension. Very glad it's only one exhibition game though, it would be ridiculous if we lost yet another great forward.

Yes, it was. I was pretty worried about it, thank god it's only 1 pre-game. All good.

He most probably will. The coaches just wanted to try other guys too. IMO Vanecek will start the first game and Vladar the second. Then it will depend on their performances but Vanecek will be given the benefit of the doubt - this is just my guess though.
 
I think Vanecek will start the whole tourney until he has a bad game. He really looked amazing against Canada. I'm not worried about him at all.

Jasek and Christov got cut today. Jasek? Really? That's insane. He's better then half the team IMO.

Also don't understand why Smejkal is on the first line. He's not that good. And doesn't fit well with Zacha and Spacek. Those two need a playmaker on that line. Kase would be the best fit I think. He played on the same line as Zacha in the U-18's.

Really surprising decision with Jasek, they probably don't have place for him in top 6 (and don't want him in any other role).

Yeah its not easy to wait for this decision haha. But the fact that its taking this long is a good sign I think. If they were leaning towards a no, then they would have said it a while ago. They must really be giving it some good thought.
