Rukavishnikov, A.Belov, Chudinov, Medvedev, Kovalchuk, Tikhonov, Panarin, Dadonov, Shipachyov, Burdasov, Burmistrov join the team today and tomorrow
roster right now
Great update!
Someone recently said that Radulov was coming to the team anyway, do you (or anyone else) possibly have any further information about that?
But I wonder what it is that we should test them for? Those guys should be tested during Euro Hockey Tour and this year was a dissaster compared to the other years.
World Championships are to win and we should have the best players we could possibly get.
It's not that we should have all the old guys, but a lot of them, like the old kazan players and that Olympic roster of 2010 is more or less out already.
I don´t want to see a whole new generation as the coaches did in 2003-2005, that was a pain to watch.
You persuaded me. It is worth the effort to win World Championships, because winning championships builds interest around the country, especially among youth that we want to aspire to excellence on the ice. They should get the best guys together to represent Russia, and let's face it, its still a fact that our best players are in the NHL. But I do look forward to building a strong enough base with KHL players so that it doesn't matter which teams are still in the NHL playoff in order to win World Championships.

If we don't win the gold medal against C-D teams of other nations for yet another time won't be a tragedy at all...
Burdasov and Rukavishnikov? Tikhonov had a rough season. I'm surprised so many SKA players were called up, especially considering there's little more than a week remaining before the tournament and many players are going to be cut.
Yes, he isn't fully healthy. He said "approximately 85%".Pittsburgh is now down by 3-1 in games vs NY Rangers and its just a matter of time before Malkin becomes available, but what has he been doing so far in the play offs? 4 games with 0 points and -1, he is playing more or less as much as Crosby and more in PP.
Is he injured or something?
Do you think he is likely to go to World Champs in that condition/will Pittsburgh let him go?
Kabanov is fantastic in SHL....
If he was playing in KHL, he would made the WC...

6 points in 13 playoff games in SHL doesnt sounds to me as fantastic.
