Well, it's always a possibility to play vs them, when both teams are playing in the same tournament.

The only two who are expected to play for sure are goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and center Artem Anisimov, both of whom are Russian.

Cam Atkinson (USA) and Ryan Johansen (Canada) are said to be considering it.

The following prominent players have said they won't play: Jack Johnson (USA), Fedor Tyutin (Russia), and Nick Foligno (USA). Scott Hartnell (Canada) said he has not been asked.

Not confirmed about Yakupov, but Znarok will never play the tournament without players who can play very good in defense (Zubov\Averin\Plotnikov and especially Kokarev very good play in defense and in penalty killing), Kokarev 99% will be in roster in WC2015.

Barulin had a bad season, in the national team, he also sometimes fails - this is not the most reliable choice. I think coaches would like to see Vasilevsky in the tournament as second-third goalkeeper, but Khudobin can also get a chance.

Nichushkin - Coaches said that they would follow his physical condition and think to invite him or not.

Nikulin old and slow, he's good in the defensive tactics Ak Bars, but Znarok requires a lot of movement and a lot of power struggle - is not strong quality Nikulin
