Adding a player for the semifinals and finals is redicolous. The IIHF should stop accepting players registration after the group stage.

I agree. Let me say I don't have a problem as a USA fan with Ovechkin playing for Russia against us, but the concept is pretty silly. After the group stage rosters should be frozen.

Nothing new. Last year in Minsk when foreign reporter asked him a question he said : "in Russian pls".
It is well known he is not good in foreign languages.

Actually this is the first game D actually deserved some praise - young guys fought well there. Who would've thought that all we need is to get rid of Medvedev.

And also 4-th line really did their job great, so many battles won by Plotnikov and Tikhonov, I guess it might be actually a good idea to reunite them with Ovechkin.

Medvedev is a kind of Schrödinger's cat. He is dead and alive in the same time. And it is a big question to have Medvedev playing or play with 6 D-men only
