I see the gross overrating of Chris Kreider has reached the main boards. Apparently, the Rangers would not move him for Tyler Seguin straight up due to 'cap reasons. Wow is all I can say.

True, how can I ever forget those small sample-sized tournaments against other regional teams in Boston.

How many has Seguin won? Zero, and he lives in Boston. What a scrub.

So the guy is kind of a band-aid, but is anyone interested in Pierre-Marc Bouchard? After typing this I have decided I'm not, don't think he is a better option than MZA.

No thank you to PMB. I feel this should be close to the roster going into next season.

Is Dorsett not the same as Clutterbuck, some team will have a great player in Clutterbuck but I dont think the Rangers need to go there since they have a similar player

Bolye is tradeable even at 2 million actual bucks, less on the cap.

As for DZ if they move him they need a RD and an offensive guy, Free Agents get overpaid so I would expect a young offensive RD back in a DZ deal even though yea they need a top 6 winger. Good change DZ is gone or again a balzy Staal deal

Rangers need MORE players like Dorsett not less because we have one already.

"@KevinWeekes: As per one of the longest tenured @NHL GM's I spoke to : ". Don't be surprised if there are some fireworks with trades/moves before July4.""

Longest tenured=Sather?

6 guys longer than slats (from wikipedia)

lou lamoriello--9/10/87
jim rutherford--6/24/94
george mcphee--6/9/97
darcy regier--6/11/97
ken holland--7/18/97
david poile--12/11/97
glen sather-6/1/00

Face it, we're not going to make any big moves tomorrow. Lots of talk, but realistically nothing will happen. And hate to say it, but this team is'nt going to win a Stanley Cup. We need another scorer, and were not gonna get it. If any of you actually think bringing in AV will dramatically change this offense your delusional. It will be the same frustrating team as last year. Trade Kreider while you can, he's not going to pan out

1) Wrong thread.

2) We don't know anything about tomorrow and neither do you, so you will be sitting pretty watching or waiting or whatever else like the rest of us.

3) You're right. The team right now won't. Hence why there should be some ideas in place on how to better this team.

4) Based on what?

Ahh thank you, now I know not to turn on my tv or computer tomorrow.

Actually, I can forgo all of next season as well. While you have your crystal ball out would you let me know when we might have a chance at winning so I can be sure to come back and watch?

But anything can happen in hockey.

U know with the absurd price for top dmen, I almost want to put McDon the block just for ***** and giggles to see the offers

It's longest tenure with current team.

The tweet was about one of the longest tenured GMs in the league, could be Sather since he's been GM since 1980. But as people said, Sather won't attempt to leak anything to media. It's Rutherford most likely as you said.

NYR has a lot going for her, but a few things are missing. Most importantly she needs a man, but not just any man. She needs a triggerman. Winnipeg might get rid of Byfuglien to upgrade with Trouba. I mean Trouba's younger and Byfuglien got kinda fat lately. NYR is weary however of another popular name. She still remembers how things didn't work out with Kotalik. There's always Thomas, who has been loyal and patiently waiting for a while. Outside of that one night stand in Montreal he is still in another league. That doesn't mean he's some scrub. He has some positive attributes, but is he big enough?

Byf is too risky making 5.2m per and not staying in shape. But I wonder if there is any chance we could get Win to take on salary?

But in the end I don't know, Buff is kind of the player you take of Enstroms shotgun and all of a sudden he looks alot slower and less useable. Just like McCabe lived of Kaberle in Toronto.
