The poster by the name of 'JTown' with a Ville Leino Flyers avatar posted that it came from NHLN just now. I don't have NHLN, so I can't confirm or deny it. No one else seems to be reporting it though, so I would take it with a grain of salt.

@Adater
Hears rumors of Avs trading Johnson and 1st for Hedman and 3rd. God I hope this doesn't happen.

Hedman is so much better than EJ that it doesn't compensate for the difference between MacKinnon and Drouin.

Crazy rumors flying around. Tomorrow is going to be nuts. Really happy I'm going to the draft tomorrow even if the Rangers don't have early picks. There's going to be a lot of action.

If its as crazy as the NBA draft was this year....... :amazed:

It's debatable. I think DZ has higher upside than Coburn for sure, though, as does Moore.

If anything they're equal, but DZ's certainly got a higher offensive ability and that to me puts him ahead for sure.

IMO Coburn is a good comparable for Moore's upside. Mobile skater, big and plays sound defensive hockey.

I think Moore has more offensive upside. I think he has sky-high upside, but whether or not he'll reach it is the question. I've maintained that Coburn is Staal-lite.

I don't think Coburn is a bad d-man, but as far as value goes (trade), MDZ trumps him.

With the Rangers keeping Richards, they will need to trade players to get under the cap. Might as well be for high draft picks.

my gut feeling is that people are going to be disappointed in the lack of activity compared to the number of rumors...too many teams looking to pawn off their high paid guys for huge returns, not enough teams with the cap space or assets to make those deals

of course from our standpoint 1 or 2 deals that involve the rangers is more exciting then 20 deals around the league while we sit around and do nothing so its more about which deals are made then the quantity i guess

If anyone has not noticed, Call Clutterbuck is a RFA. Would be getting a new contract. Not sure why Minnesota will trade him. He should not be asking for a lot. His numbers do not scream 3 million dollar player. I can see him making about 2 million. I would trade for him if we can dump one of our lower level players in the deal for him. Asham + mid/low pick + lower prospect for Clutterbuck.

They are already under the cap and will still be after signing their RFA's, if they want to change pieces they will have to trade. Which is fine by me, didn't want to see them sign anyone this summer basically.

I love how Holmgren is still trying to add offense, by trading a D-man.

So the Flyers would trade yet another defenseman to trade up 4 spots in the draft and get yet another forward back? Unless they plan on taking Nurse or Ristolainen, it makes no sense.

What the hell is going on in Philadelphia?

Trying to prove that you can't win a Cup without defense and goaltending, in case anyone out there was struggling to accept that. Thank you for the public service Homer.
