$4.5M cap hit for Vinny is solid, but the five year term is kind of scary.

How is that an excellent deal? ?Their beat writers saying 4 years/23.5. So just under 6 mill Cap hit for another center. They dont need to add to the offense. Their blueline is absolutely horrid, and they have one NHL goalie on the roster and its Steve Mason.....

Even at 5 years I fail to see how this addresses a single problem that Philly has. I guess if you want to win games 6-5 etc then go for it.

Good price but kinda odd, again, that the continue to sign/trade for forwards and never improve the defense/goaltending. Doesn't really matter how good their offense is if they're going to be using Mason in goal.

4.6m cap hit for 60 pt production C that brings size and intangibles when healthy. Much better than Streit signing.

I dont get the term on Vinny, he's a great player and the cap hit is not terrible for him but after 3 yrs it will be bad. We complain about Richards but this is bad for Philly long term

Think Holmer isn't done yet. He was shopping Coburn at the draft. Now he's open to trade Couturier for dman like Edler or Yandle maybe.
