Maybe he's been playing a little injured?

Probably. AV said it's been a "nagging" issue. Probably hasn't been playing 100% and is probably ONE of the reason's he has performed so poorly.

That said, it's not the end of the world. It's day-to-day. He might miss a couple games. That's it.

In the mean time, it looks like Talbot will start against the Flyers. And what's the worst that can happen? He can't do much worse than Lundqvist. Base case scenario is he surprises everyone and performs well, which would be great for the Rangers, because if Lundqvist truly does having "nagging" issues, they can feel confident resting him an extra few games.

Remember the time a couple years ago he had to leave the game temporarily because they said he had a skate issue, but he really just had to take a horrible ****?

lol I remember the game. It was on the road. I never heard it was because he had to take a **** though lol

While I'm not sure about the Pens, I for 1 think Talbot will do fine for NHL rook G.

We as a team will be fine IF

if, we do not waste our speedsters (Kreider Miller Fast) with other linemates (Pyatt, Boyle, etc.)

so far it doesn't look like that is happening... Kreider on the first line means that AV both realized and attempted resolution a major problem

Concussions are the worst. Besides the uncertainty of the return date, there's the uncertainty of how susceptible he'll become to future concussions and whether the entirety of it will affect his style of play.

Rick Nash needs to be traded to the highest bidder by the deadline.

Knowing that he has 2 concussions in close proximity, who would want to take the risk?

$7.8 M for the next 5 years is a tough pill to swallow for the bidding team.

It's as dramatic an article as I've ever read.

Notice how he talks about successive concussions and how they can lead to more, and everyone thinks Lindros... The thing is Nash's previous concussions have been mild, he probably came back early last season but we're talking 9 years in between his first two and now this one which as I said before that hit concusses 90% of players in the league. It was shoulder to the cheek/jaw.

I'm concerned, but not in the same way Gross is or anyone else that is thinking Lindros or Sauer. This one will last awhile this season, don't rush him back and I think he'll be fine going forward. Those hits accidental hits are rare, only concern after that is some sort of cheap shot.

All it takes is one team to be interested. Up to Sather to figure out who.

He's not getting traded.

I think he should be traded a concussion to early instead of a concussion too late. I really don't this there is any such thing as a mild concussion, and once they stack up forget about it. He really should be traded. I sure he doesn't want to stick around for another rebuild either. They still can get a good package for Nash now, if they wait its going to become another bad contract the Rangers are saddled with. Need to have some foresight here.
