Yogan rings the post. Pack absolutely dominating play but still scoreless.

Kreider with a HUGE hit. And another. Playing REALLY well. Where was this in camp?
I think this was a wake up call to CK. The rangers obviously want him to be up BUT they wnat to make sure he will be consistently engaged. With his talent if he is 100% focused the nest few weeks im sure this will be the alst time he is in the AHL

First line looks good on the first shift. More good play by Kreider and Hrivik and then a beautiful move by Lindberg, but loses the puck off his stick as he goes to take a backhander.

Second shift - Kristo with an awful turnover, putting it right on Whitney's stick 20 feet out in the slot, who scores with a snap shot.

Whitney blocks Syvret's shot at the point, goes off on a partial breakaway, but a great snatch by Talbot foils him.

Kreider just took a penalty. Hrivik got rocked and Kreider flew in to get in the face of the guy who hit him.

IMO it looked like a clean hit but nice to see that kind of fire out of Kreider.

McIlrath just drew a slashing penalty to negate a 5-on-3.

Noesen tried to get in his face after to goad McIlrath into a retaliatory penalty, but Mac stayed composed. And instead McIlrath aggressively chirped in Noesen's face, looked like he was about to eat him.

Pack down two men as Haley clears over the glass.

Bickel takes a slash in the slot, bringing it back to 4-3. Good job by McIlrath taking a punch to the chops and not getting drawn into the fight. Hahaha - and then he points to the chin and seems to be saying something to the effect of "c'mon try again; you can do better than that."

Yogan gets knocked down and gets back up and goes with Clark. Mostly a wrestling match.

EDIT: whoops, the Pack are going to start off the third down 2 men for over a minute due to this little altercation.

It sounds like they have been dominating but just have had some bad luck getting the puck in. Hopefully the 3rd period they get some goals

My pleasure, guys.

sounds like they're learning the NYR way already....:shakehead
To a certain extent. They've hit at least one post and had a couple good chances get just barely deflected. Anderson has also been very, very good.

A few more shots from sharp angles than I'd like, but they are definitely getting quality chances.

5-on-3 for 1:42 to start the third.

Admirals score on the 5-on-3.

McIlrath goes down to try to make a play and the Admiral player hangs onto the puck instead of shooting, passes across while McIlrath is down for the easy slam dunk. Nothing Talbot could do.

at the pack game right now. team looks good, but nobody knows how to shoot/snipe... its getting frustrating. the skating speed/skill is there for sure though
