Dang don't see the Pack game on hockeystreams. May pick up the AHL live stream if no other plans develop. Lot of reasons to watch the Pack this year.

it should be there. I saw that it is on there.

If you click on the AHL Calender it doesn't say "TV" or "HD" next to it. I took that to mean it was not being streamed.

This is my first time trying to watch AHL hockey so I could just be off base and those designations mean something else.

It has a TV icon as of right now. Should be on. Lower quality as I have seen from the CHL, but the recording highlights from youtube show on 480p which should be more than fine to watch.

It does now. Or it does on my computer at least.

FWIW, I've never seen them not stream a Wolf Pack game.

Bizarre, I am seeing the icon now too. Good stuff guys thanks!

Talbot, at age 26 looks similar to how Henrik looked when he first came into the league at 23. Very deep goaltender, extremely quick legs in the butterfly.

But where Hank has improved over the years in playing the angles, rebound control, and glove hand, Talbot is still a bit raw from what I see.

I like the kid, but if he spends too long in the AHL it will be tougher and tougher to adapt to the speed of play in the NHL. This is why I wanted to see him used this season. Stopping Jason Krog and Alexandre Giroux on breakaways is a little different than facing Malkin and Stamkos.

I would think that he will back up lundqvist next season, since biron's contract ends at the end of this season.

Gah. Thought I would be clever and watch the Pack game on my TV using IE on my XBox, but sadly it requires Flash, which the XBox doesn't support.

Still, I have to say the feed on the iPad app is much better than streams I remember from previous years.

Opening lineup for the Pack:

Kreider-Lindberg-Hrivik
Johnson-McIlrath

Liking that starting five. Although I just realized that Hrivik is on the right - why the heck doesn't Gernander play him on the left?

Two good chances by Kreider right off the drop. Looked engaged and dynamic there.

Second five:

Mashinter-Yogan-Kristo
Allen-Bickel

Dupont-Jean-Bourque is another line. Jean draws a penalty with a good rush wide around the D-man.

First powerplay unit:

Kreider-Lindberg-Hrivik (first line)
Syvret-Johnson

First unit looking good - Kreider JUST missed from in front due to a last minute stick check.

Second unit is the second line with Allen and Bickel. They also got a good chance.

Yikes, Lindberg with an AWFUL drop pass while entering the zone (watching too much Richards in practice with the big club?) that led to a shorthanded breakaway. Talbot with the fantastic glove save.

Hrivik with a roughing penalty. The ice-side commentator thinks it's a **** call (love the fact that you can hear what the announcers are saying during timeouts).

Powe-Bourque is the first PK pair.

Kreider-Lindberg is the second.

Allen looking really mobile - dangerous on offense. Just picking up where he left off in the NHL camp. He keeps this up and he'll be the first call-up on D.

(Should we read anything into the fact that he's wearing Del Zotto's #4...?) :)

Allen's skating on that rush and getting back was impressive that's for sure.

It was about time our FO got a good free agent out of the NCAA. I'll be keeping an eye this season to see if they're scouting at any SLU games.
