JT Miller 1 goal 1 assist tonight in a 4-1 win... good to see him going there and scoring.. Danny Kristo Ryan Bourque and Brandon Mashinter 1 goal.. Michael Kantor 2 fighting majors.

I wasn't happy with the way Miller has been handled, but, he's an incredibly confident player. I wasn't worried about the constant shuffling getting to his head. If anything, I think he needs to learn to dish it off more; he's so confident that he often holds on to the puck too long.

Kantor 5 fighting majors in the last two games. One of them really wasn't a fight but even so--what's up with him?

Way to early to call up--but maybe he's trying to show the big club a thing or two--bump Pyatt or Pouliot and call up Kantor for 4th line duties.

i say call up Yogan and Kantor and replace Pouliot and AV's child Pyatt.

id love a 4th line of Kantor Yogan Dorsett

Is he even on an NHL contract? Lol...

Yep, just signed his ELC this year.

How has Micheal Haley been this year? Has he been playing bad/unimpressive enough to warrant someone else (like Yogan/Kantor) being called up to play in a 4th line role?

Also.. are we ever going to give Marek Hrivik a chance? With the way he played in preseason I feel like we should give him a shot in a Pouliot/Pyatt type role. Hrivik has been one of my favorite prospects for us just because he's been solid in the two-way game and has some size.. he has the potential to be a solid 3rd liner. Only 22. And it's not like he's completely off the scoring sheet; .5 PPG so far this year.. maybe they're waiting for him to bump up his offensive play?

Haley deserves a chance to play in the NHL. He could be a nice spark plug on the fourth line.

Hrivik hasn't taken that step forward this year. He isn't bad, but if he wants to be a regular NHLer.

Gotcha. Thanks for the update.

Kind of upset the eastern divisions in the AHL don't all play each other. I live in the apartment building right next to the arena in Binghamton when I'm up at school and I'm upset I'm not gonna be able to see the Pack this year. Anyone know why the schedule works like that?

If Hrivik was solid in the 2 way game he would be here

Yep, true. I don't get to see much of Hartford but he hasn't looked bad when I've watched. But then again, small sample size compared to the rest of the season. I still have moderately high hopes for him

What position he was playing and who were his linemates?

What did New York's brass tell Miller before he departed for Hartford? Nothing specific, Miller said.

"I just want to kind of [focus] on what kind of player I am and be consistent at both ends of the rink," Miller said. "Try to be a leader and try to get better."

Now he joins a team that's been struggling for goals — Hartford was scoreless in four of five games before Wednesday. Miller said he is not thinking about his NHL future, focusing instead on the present.

"I don't want to worry about getting the call back. … You can't think about that stuff," Miller said. "You just have to go out and play every game and not think about anything else. It's not hard at all. I just try to focus on the game. I want to play and wherever that may be, I'm ready."

Someone in the Rangers brass needs to tell Vigneault that Miller is a center. Sather. Gorton. Schoenfeld who is the Pack GM. Someone needs to tell AV.

5 goals and 6 points in 4 AHL games. The Pack is playing tonight and tomorrow. They have three games next weekend.

He played between Mashinter and Kristo in the last game.

Miller's best games as a Ranger came with him playing at center last season. Between Kreider and Callahan and then Gaborik and Callahan. Richards was out when Kaleta hit him from behind. Tortorella said he couldn't trust Miller playing at center in a 48 game season with every point being so huge. Then Tortorella said if Miller was healthy,he would have played him in the playoffs. Miller had a wrist injury.

Miller made the team this season based on his strong play in the Edmonton preseason game. Miller played at center. Vigneault has played him on the wing during the regular season.

Richards to a wing. Step, Brass, Miller and Moore at center come February.

Don't know if the flu is going around the Hartford locker room but St. Croix is back up along with Josh Nicholls for tonight's game. No Kristo, Hrivik, Haley, Yogan or Asham. Getting towards the end of the 2nd period and Wolfpack is down 3-2.

The AHL website says McIlrath is 230 now. I know he was 215 did he really put 15 pounds on this offseason or could this be a AHL error?
