I absolutely love how Kantor came in when McIlrath was engaged already to back up a teammate. LOVE IT.
Asham is a really good fighter for a middleweight.

id rather have Asham over Pouliot on the Rangers roster
Per AHL Transaction page, Stajcer down to Greenville (ECHL), Jeff Malcolm up to Hartford... Only God probably knows why.
This makes no sense to me. Missiaen ****ing sucks. Stajcer at least gives you a puncher's chance.
Why can't Schoenfeld just have a set of balls and trade a 6th rounder for a solid 3rd stringer and put us all out of our misery?
Maybe they plan on getting Missiaen some games in a row and want Stajcer to keep playing? It makes a hell of a lot more sense for both of them to play full time than half-time.
Could be. Greenville plays Tuesday and Thursday, Hartford plays Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Stajcer gets two in the ECHL, Missiaen gets two in the AHL? Maybe Malcolm plays Saturday... Who knows. Even if it's that, I'd still rather have Stajcer getting the Wednesday/Friday AHL starts than a couple starts for Greenville.
As we saw I the preseason game and scrimmage, Kantor can skate and hit. Good size too. Would like to see him put some points on the board as the season progresses. Could be a 4th line option next year or the year after. Would help overall "team toughness".I absolutely love how Kantor came in when McIlrath was engaged already to back up a teammate. LOVE IT.

I really like that Kantor is looking to start trouble EVERY shift. Always starts an after the whistle scrum. Great way of getting opposing teams frustrated and off their games.
malcom to the pack. stajcer to echl. i hope this helps the calm the team a bit to get back to winning. we do need an ahl goalie update tho

Malcolm, who helped lead Yale University to its first-ever NCAA title last season as a senior, currently sports the second-best save percentage in the ECHL, with a mark of 94.0 in seven games, and his goals-against average of 1.96 is fifth-best among ECHL goaltenders. The 6-2, 185-pound Lethbridge, Alberta native is 3-3-1 with the Road Warriors, after playing two periods of one game with the Wolf Pack earlier this season. Malcolm absorbed the loss in that contest, a 4-3 defeat at Albany October 25, allowing four goals on 23 shots.

J.T. Miller sent back down to Wolf Pack by Rangers
So maybe, then, the plan is to give Malcolm an extended look in the AHL while Stajcer gets all of the starts in Greenville. And Missiaen stays glued to the bench? That makes the most sense to me.
We'll see. Mac has made great strides this year, for sure. MT @Qwick32: hey hawk you think macylrath gets a shot soon?
