Snoozefest tonight against Worcester. Borque scored and Fast and Lindberg got assists.

McLIrath didn't play. Neither did Aliu. Hope the later wasn't released from his PTO.

Still don't love Kristo playing without the Swedes because it makes both lines weaker, but with Miller coming back, that won't be a problem.

I like the Swedes with Bourque. Good, fast, creative line.

Miller should play with Kristo and Hrivik, which would be a very strong line at the AHL.

Yogan-Powe-Asham would be the third line.

Haley-Jean-Kantor on the fourth.

Yes. He is terrible.

Mash isn't an nhl player either, but beach isn't even an ahl player

My thoughts exactly when we made this trade, it really makes you wonder about one or two scouts / decision-makers in this org?

Something is not right when we pick up Beach. Beach does not have more potential than Mashinter. He is not a better player. Everything that was said about why we made this deal, was just the opposite by quite the wide margin and it was easy to see. If you don't have done your homework, its easy to believe the opposite. When Beach was in the SHL, I was excited to watch him play. Though, wow this is a kid that could make sense for us in NY. But then I saw him play...

Who was responsible for this move?

What an aweful WP season... Pfff

We are tied 30th overall in the AHL. Whomever is running this org seems to be snoozing.

I also don't buy that our AHL team is tremendously weak. They have had 3 Ds in Johnson, Syvret and Allen who are strong AHL D's / border line NHLers who have played more or less all season. They have been short a guy back and forth, but its not like their blueline is completely incompetent. Between goaltending and lack of offensive depth, who can blame them for some adversity. But 30th overall?

What is the plan with Gernander? Is he the best developer? Is he a guy who potentially could take over in the AHL? Is he the guy to learn the D's to pass the puck? To learn our forwards play an elite transition game? A fore-checking guru?

Snoozefest.

Not saying I watch but did beach not put up PTS on Chicagoans ahl team?

Lol for a moment I was like "who is kyle beach?" when it dawned upon me "oh yeah, the guy Mash was traded for" hahahahaha did he even play the past couple of weeks? Waste of space..

It's real. It's some kind of AHL waiver claim by the team. He was overseas.

Looking forward to being back in the AHL tonight. Can't wait to join Hartford!

They need the help. Can't hurt.

Hensick was an incredible hockey player in his NCAA days. Just never really panned out in the NHL long term for him.

was a big fan of his... he is only 27 so maybe although doubtful he can still make it. PA Parenteau didnt make the NHL as a full time player till the age of 27..

TJ Hensick is a talented hockey player, just isn't in good shape. That's why he was released. He was on a real big contract and his team expected him to be a top 5-10 forward in the league. His skill was obvious, but he wasn't in the type of shape you need to be to lead a SHL team.

Grumet-Morris is actually putting up better numbers than Talbot was (2.35 GAA, .925%), but is getting zero offensive support.

Actually he seems the one guy they should stick with. Maybe with Miller back down and adding Hensick they can get some offense going. No scoring and crap goaltending means you've got almost no chance of winning.
