pretty much, a few russian calls we bad, but about 80% of the canadian calls have been bogus no if ands or buts about that. It only takes a basic knowledge of hockey to understand that.

I think the Russians cloned Alex Despatie 18 times and taught him out to skate.

at one point canada had 18 minutes of penalties with 3 minutes minutes to in the second penalty, and canada is not playing dirty.

Having seen Bourdon play a few times this year in the Q, and listening to some scouts talk about him, he's the reason I shake my head when people definitively say things like "PARENT WILL BE ONE OF THE TOP THREE D TAKEN." Nothing against Parent, who is a great player in his own right, but there are teams that have Bourdon over Parent, and such strong, crystal ball, statements are a joke anyhow.

this team is something else, after the first 2 games i wrote them off as quite possibly to worst team canada i've watched. they came together well and are playing an excellent game, fighting back, staying in the game and leading when down for almost half of the game and down 2 men two times (i think). i'd say they came together pretty well, now it's about keeping it up for the medal round where they will play tough teams.
