Yeah really happy with Mika, but his efforts are going to waste sadly. Hope that changes soon. Lol.I'm not worried
And on the bright side, holy crap Zibanejad is playing like he's possessed

"Where are my glasses... Oh they are on my head"It was just short of "now where did I put my keys...anyone seen my wife..."
Maloney in the locker room, so awkward..haha
All I'm going to say people:
Relax, this team has the pieces they clearly just need to get up to speed and build their chemistry. Once the players are used to each other, things will be better. Remember, this team had a ton of turnover. The personnel on defense is better now, but they need to get used to playing with each other.
Hank will be fine. He actually looked better to me in his movements and tracking, despite the goals. Last season he often looked a step behind and like he was fighting it, I've thought in both games his mechanics and tracking looked good he just looks rusty to me, as opposed to last season when he looked overmatched at times. Just my opinion. He will be fine.
The defense will improve, Hank will improve. AV needs to play Chytil or send him back to Czech. Unfortunately, that probably means Desjardins is getting signed, yuck. Also, Holden is probably in tomorrow night for DeAngelo. I haven't hated Staal in either game so far, he actually looks better than last season.
Most importantly: it's two games. I would say the same thing if we won both games 10-0. It's two games.
Plus, remember the last season we got off to a poor start, including getting shelled in Anaheim and San Jose back to back and Hertl sending Biron out to pasture? That was 2013-14, the year we made the SCF. That team looked mediocre until the end of December when things started to click and chemistry was developed. This team just needs to click.
First ten games of the Yankees season, Aaron Judge was basically on a tryout.
Six months later, he was arguably the best player in baseball.
Goes to show you how long seasons are.

Hank with the call out. Good for him. Maybe they’ll shape up for tomorrow"As a goalie, it's definitely easier when you have structure in front"
Trout.
This coach would have sat him then sent him down to the Tuscaloosa Pee Wee league
Folks that when they were just implementing a new system. Here, there is an obvious lack of depth down the middle. You won't win that way. But I guess the only hope is that they looked good in the 2d but shot their wad there. All I'm going to say people:

Seriously.....you might as well send the kid back to the Czech league if he’s gonna get 5 minutes a night. What pisses me off is he sits Chytil for any reason but doesn’t do anything to Hayes after taking a stupid penalty which led to the 7th goal and essentially ended the game. You're probably right.
Some of AV's personnel decisions over the years have been akin to batting Tyler Wade clean-up.
Trout was but just didnt get enough ABsTrout is, but probably wasn't in 2017.
Sort of like Crosby (before McDavid). He was the best player in hockey but not literally the best every single year.

As a forward, it’s always easier when you have Cheddar behind you rather than Swiss.
I wanna I like this post twice but they won't let me so I'm saying it.
