Let Pavs go again.

Hank needs to settle down.

This. I know it's October so I was sort of expecting this, but Hank looks bad.

Gunna have to rely on Pavelec a lot this month. Hank will bring it up to speed in about a month. it sucks but this is the story with him

4-1 loss to mediocre Arizona
3-1 Lundqvist win against LA
9-2 Biron retirement loss to the Sharks
6-0 loss to the Ducks right after
And then 1-3 in the next 4 games, where we dominated Washington once and got shut out 4-0 by the Devils

Then things just got better and better up to the finals

That's a fond memory, but unfortunately add some mileage on our goalie, weakness up the middle, and a d that needs time to gel. That will amount to lost points that may be difficult to recover from late in the season. Hopefully tomorrow starts us off with at least a step in the right direction.

Remember when we started like 10-1 and gave up like 600 scoring chances, and then sucked the rest of the season? It's early.

I get it. No regulation wins in 8 games including preseason. I'm annoyed too.

But it's early. And so far, for me, this team has been way easier to watch than the last two years.
I didn't enjoy scoring 5 goals on 7 shots and then watching the other team practice the rest of the night, but that's just me.

We started off "great" last year and I hated it.

I missed the 2nd and 3rd but how? That defense was more painful than any game last year sans that one 7-2 loss to the Pens.

I get that Chytil needs to play minutes, but with the way this game quickly spiraled out of control, I'm not 100% sure giving him those minutes would have been a great idea. Especially with the officiating in the third.

I don't think how AV handled Chytil this game was completely right, but I don't think it was completely wrong either.

If Miller plays like he did at center tonight on a regular basis, we'll forget Stepan was ever here.

We actually generated offense.

We usually just score on a few fast breaks and then do nothing.

The offense is much better.

Ah, sucks, I stopped watching after 5-5 Miller had a huge chance in beginning of 3rd, but we did not finish as a team, feelsbad after that 2 nd. period. I thought we had momentum to get it done and easy 2 points. Oh well, soon a new game with new chances.

Is this going to be the Lundqvist we have all season? Holy crap.. You can blame defense all you want, but when a goalie gives up 5 goals in a period it's time to look at the goalie..
