Reirden was pretty meh as a HC in WSH so I don't expect much out of him here. The PP though, which he runs, no excuse there its trash

Reirden and Hextall are the same person to me. Both a bland AF, and coming off rough stints before signing here.

The other one I don't get: When a shot is coming, they all watch. If you've got a guy screening already, another needs to crash the net. If the screen isn't there, two guys need to crash.

Probably because they're all in shock that someone took a shot and are standing around waiting for the backdoor pass through 20 skates that our players usually attempt.

That said, the mix is an issue too. Letang does the best he can at the point, but he's not Gonchar. And, his efforts are hurt further by the lack of a true net front guy (meaning his already telegraphed one-timer passes can be seen by the goalie).
