on a different team he isNot sure Kap is much of a PP player.
He should’ve went to the bench immediately after he had to race back to prevent the breakaway.Letang went full Loltang on that powerplay.
That was the saddest 5-3 PP I’ve seen in a long time.
People blame Malkin and crosby for our bad pp, but with them out it looks exactly the same… whoever is in charge of that shouldn’t be…..
he ain't we already established that, but what the hell happened to Rust,Not sure Kap is much of a PP player.
Only morons say that. We were 4th in the league last year. Crosby was 10th among all Forwards in PPP's.People blame Malkin and crosby for our bad pp, but with them out it looks exactly the same… whoever is in charge of that shouldn’t be…..
great play by letang lol after he f***ed up possesion on 5 on f***ing 3He should’ve went to the bench immediately after he had to race back to prevent the breakaway.
he ain't we already established that, but what the hell happened to Rust,
This PP is PROOF of what I've been saying all year about the 'brilliance' of Rierden as a PP coach. His entire PP for years has been predicated on Sid or Geno making a 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 play to create an opening for a great scoring chance.
I keep saying the good PP coaches approach things like chess . . . their PP is designed to use pieces to attack in combination.
Or, if you prefer, look at a guy like EJ who described how he used to coach it in terms of movement on the basketball court.
But, the Pens PP . . . one guy moves, and everyone else just watches. One guy shoots, and nobody crashes to coincide with the shot coming . . . instead they just wait to see if a rebound comes.
And, support designed to create isolated 2 on 1's in high danger areas for the PK? ******** forget that shit.
It sure did. They lived up to the name by doing the bare minimum, not taking any chances, going down without a fight.Looked pretty Sleepy, didn't it
