Actually Brassard was having the best 5v5 season of his career that year with Ottawa and had very little PP production....

I'm not to stat check that completely but his PP totals that year don't look impressive so you're probably right.

Honestly, my only issue with it was that they could've pulled it off without moving Cole. Yes, I know, he wasn't the same guy as he'd been, but he would've come in handy in the playoffs.

No way to know the other part with Brassard.

Especially considering we tried replacing him with Jack Johnson and Cole went on to be pretty good for Colorado.
