The Lightning skated yesterday morning. No skate this morning. The Rangers were off yesterday. They will skate this morning at 10:30.

per Andrew gross's twitter, the practice lines seem to indicate Boyle being a healthy scratch again

#NYR practice lines: Gaborik-Richards-Pyatt, Hagelin-Stepan-Nash, Kreider-Miller-Callahan, Asham-Halpern-Powe. Looks like Boyle out again.

glad to see girardi back and Gilroy still in there, he has played extremely well to stay in the line up!
 
Damn, I can see why Biron would play but this may be the only game I get to see at the garden. I hate paying good money to see Biron play. Last time I went to a game with Biron starting was in October 2009, after we started something like 7-1, we played the Sharks, got a quick 2-0 lead and proceeded to lose 7-3. I wish Torts played Lunqvist in his home games.

I really see no reason why Asham should be in there over Boyle. Not like TB is a team with fighters. Meanwhile we need as many PKers as possible.

biron wasnt a ranger in 09 :help:

the only game biron has played for us against the sharks was on halloween last year and he won

Vally was borderline immobile. Biron is a great puckhandler and it aids the team in certain ways.

Good, again, it wouldn't be the worst decision in the world to put Biron. Biron played a great game and had no chance on those 2 goals. It would have been a way to reward Biron and give Hank some rest. However, a) I'd still rather have Hank play against a very good offensive team b) I'm going to the game. Hate paying good money and not seeing our best player.

Right, it was Vally. I forgot. It was last time I went to a game Hank didn't start, I should say. I also remember last year being worried that we'd suffer the same fate against the Sharks, but Biron played well and the Rangers had on of the best games of the year and won 5-2. Some nice goals from Anisimov and Cally.
