At some point players have to be held accountable.

At this point it is not about getting better, it is about staying the same talent wise and freeing up a ton of cap space.

Lewis - expensive
Clifford - expensive and replaceable by Andreoff
King - expensive, UFA replaceable by Mersch

Even trading King if we are out allows us to see if Mersch is an option next year

I forgot about Lewis. Add him to the mix. On the back end, Greene would be great to ditch, but who'd take him? Martinez seems overpriced, now, unfortunately, but he has trade value.
