Was that the Jeff Halprin deal?
That's the real issue here. We have been trying to fill holes that Brown, Richards, and Voynov have left on this team. I am happy we won two cups, not many franchises can say that, but not buying out Brown and Richards while other teams ditched their terrible contracts has destroyed this team.
Not even mad, anyone who looked at this roster and thought "playoff team" was looking more at the logo in front rather than the names on the back. When Quick went down it went from a black hole type team to a top 5 pick type team.
The facts are we have a very poor roster and a very poor pipeline, that is a recipe for disaster. My biggest concern is Dean is going to make another disastrous trade in an attempt to save his job.
Remember when i said Lucic made a big difference because he parked his fatass infront of the net and we scored more goals because of it ? Well on the pp i havent seen ONE guy infront of the goalie to cause some sort of havoc or screen. Lucic should have been resigned at all costs . Greene should have been bought out and Clifford and King moved and made way for prospects so we could have kept Lucic.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. If you're not, I agree.
The usual crowd can save their "I told you so" bullets for me if they desire.
We're not this bad. Funny how many people around here that are so fast to jump on Quick when he gives up 1 goal in the first 10 shots aren't blaming Zatkoff at all for 5 in 15...
Edit: let me rephrase: THIS isn't a playoff team, but it will be.
i want every single member on here to admit that Nick Shore is garbage
i want to set up a poll is Shore garbage? and i want a 100% YES vote
we all have to be on the same page, if we are to tear is down and build properly
so...
Is Nick Shore Garbage!!?!?!

.6875%have to go pretty far back to find a worse goaltending performance than this one. Still a whole period to go.
The only way to alleviate this roster is to trade DD and Carter.
If you get young up and coming studs for those two, you may buy a few years of window. Like Nichols for Sandstrom/Granato deals.
You fill more holes and spread the cap.
Not advocating this, just saying.
It's ruthless and you would lose two all-world players.
Kings are committed to their core. Need to pull of what Chicago has been able to do.
That's why I hate the salary cap.
This team desperately needs speed and skill
Kings tickets on Stubhub go as low as $20 against equally ****** teams (+ ticket processing fee).
No thanks.
Live by it, and die by it. Tough to think the Kings have a Cup win without it.
