There is absolutely nothing to worry about. The Kings are still a strong possession team with the best defense in the league, with plenty of depth throughout the lineup.

What would Lucic be doing right now other than being slow and lost? Brown is already our Lucic.

That's the real issue here. We have been trying to fill holes that Brown, Richards, and Voynov have left on this team. I am happy we won two cups, not many franchises can say that, but not buying out Brown and Richards while other teams ditched their terrible contracts has destroyed this team.

Folks, the team is out of bullets -- that's what happens when you are in win now mode. DL's job should depend on what he does going forward from here, he should be on the phones working every team to win trades by taking advantage of their fear from the coming expansion draft.

They really can't afford to Buy Brown out yet. His contract is too long, and puts too much dead cap for too long.

Not even mad, anyone who looked at this roster and thought "playoff team" was looking more at the logo in front rather than the names on the back. When Quick went down it went from a black hole type team to a top 5 pick type team.
The facts are we have a very poor roster and a very poor pipeline, that is a recipe for disaster. My biggest concern is Dean is going to make another disastrous trade in an attempt to save his job.
