We need 4 to 5 to win every game, so we gotta get going on the offensive, the other team is going to score goals on this sieve they always do. Its not a shock, we just need 4 or 5 to be scored.

I'm not blaming Stu for our lack of offence or the score. But that 2nd goal sucked.
Kempe hasn't scored on that off the wing shot hardly all season. The last time he was scoring those was Skinner, playoffs. who knew?

He didn't wire it. He knows its Skinner and all he has to do is place the shot. Fiala wired his. That was smoking. Fiala seems to be playing better after being benched.

If we quit dusting the puck off on every possession we’ll be fine. Our pace across the board is a problem.

Several times that period we got the puck then stood there looking for passes (RNH the biggest culprit here). Quick feet and quick pucks has us in this, but we f***ed around instead.

That was a terrible goal. Does Schwartz just coach goalies to get the body in front of the shot- and anything outside of your body just leave it? Makes sense since Mike Smith had his coach un-teach that after his first year in Edmonton
I swear on the one goals he tried to sink his head down so that he wouldn't get hit. Probably not a good sign from your #1 goalie IMO.

Talk about a low bar. It's not like they had 20 shots on net or 10 in the slot ffs. I swear it's no wonder Schwartz has a lifetime job when that period is seen as "good goaltending". Again, average at best.
They had like 5 10 bell chances to our 0. That looked like a Canada vs Latvia game. Not even in the same league.

It was a bad goal. But feel free to call out 29 when it's warranted.

You’re welcome. I am sure I know and have a higher level of goaltending experience than you.
Great. Hope that knowledge pays well. Maybe you can start a thread about your hockey expertise.

edit - kind of sounds like the ex WHL player who sold me my mattresss a few years back. He was better at hockey than me too!

Please confirm for me that you have watched all 11 of his goals this season.

Yah agreed, absolutely no reason to get beat from there. No screen, no angle, shot was coming for days. Needed that save. Can't afford to give up weak goals especially playing a stingy trap team.

I'm not claiming they are good; just explaining how this wasn't some masterstroke by Blake. He screwed up his one big move and the young kids have covered it up (so far this season).
I know that's what you were saying. I agree with you. I was criticizing the trade on here the moment it was made too.

Indeed Bryan. The bar with Skinner is pretty low. he made a few nice saves, give him that, but he was leaving pucks over all over, Some real messy moments.

Doesn't do the team any favors confidence wise when you watch your starting goalie almost let in a dump from the Kings own zone. jebus. Lewis chance Oilers are lucky it wasn't any other King. That gets finished.
