We need 4 to 5 to win every game, so we gotta get going on the offensive, the other team is going to score goals on this sieve they always do. Its not a shock, we just need 4 or 5 to be scored.
They should be down by four.Correct. Would be nice if they had a smaller margin to try and overcome, but they don’t because a relatively routine glove save off the wall couldn’t be made.
Kempe hasn't scored on that off the wing shot hardly all season. The last time he was scoring those was Skinner, playoffs. who knew?I'm not blaming Stu for our lack of offence or the score. But that 2nd goal sucked.

I swear on the one goals he tried to sink his head down so that he wouldn't get hit. Probably not a good sign from your #1 goalie IMO.That was a terrible goal. Does Schwartz just coach goalies to get the body in front of the shot- and anything outside of your body just leave it? Makes sense since Mike Smith had his coach un-teach that after his first year in Edmonton
I'm not claiming they are good; just explaining how this wasn't some masterstroke by Blake. He screwed up his one big move and the young kids have covered it up (so far this season).Let's see how those players look in the second half. Also, Cam Talbot leading a team to the cup? Zero chance.
That seems to be unnecessarily tempting fate.woof….things couldn’t get much worse

They had like 5 10 bell chances to our 0. That looked like a Canada vs Latvia game. Not even in the same league.Talk about a low bar. It's not like they had 20 shots on net or 10 in the slot ffs. I swear it's no wonder Schwartz has a lifetime job when that period is seen as "good goaltending". Again, average at best.
It was a bad goal. But feel free to call out 29 when it's warranted.Kempe hasn't scored on that off the wing shot hardly all season. The last time he was scoring those was Skinner, playoffs. who knew?
He didn't wire it. He knows its Skinner and all he has to do is place the shot. Fiala wired his. That was smoking. Fiala seems to be playing better after being benched.
Great. Hope that knowledge pays well. Maybe you can start a thread about your hockey expertise. You’re welcome. I am sure I know and have a higher level of goaltending experience than you.
Please confirm for me that you have watched all 11 of his goals this season.Kempe hasn't scored on that off the wing shot hardly all season. The last time he was scoring those was Skinner, playoffs. who knew?

Yah agreed, absolutely no reason to get beat from there. No screen, no angle, shot was coming for days. Needed that save. Can't afford to give up weak goals especially playing a stingy trap team.Kempe hasn't scored on that off the wing shot hardly all season. Shots is a very generous term. Campbell could’ve saved them.2 shots on net?
I know that's what you were saying. I agree with you. I was criticizing the trade on here the moment it was made too.I'm not claiming they are good; just explaining how this wasn't some masterstroke by Blake. He screwed up his one big move and the young kids have covered it up (so far this season).
Indeed Bryan. The bar with Skinner is pretty low. he made a few nice saves, give him that, but he was leaving pucks over all over, Some real messy moments.Talk about a low bar.
