100% agree - game could easily be 4-0 right now if Skinner didn't make some key saves.

The two shots wouldn’t matter as much if he made even one of those incredibly saveable shots.

Dubois isn't an upgrade over Vilardi. The Kings growth comes from Byfield, Moore, and Spence taking the next step in their careers. Imagine if they had the same patience with Vilardi.

btw the buzz in the crowd was Skinner having trouble stopping a puck shot from Kings own zone. It almost went in. People behind the net were laughing.

Sure, and the Kings could have scored 3 others. The Kempe shot was literally perfect post and in on a blown tire by our D when we have the puck behind their goal line. Plenty other fingers to point before Skinner gets blamed. The team is getting clowned with 2 SOG in a period

Really miss Kane tonight. He usually is the driver in games against LA. No one else willing to drag the team into the battle.
Well true and Skinner made some saves. But that 2nd goal is a killer. Good shot but shooter only had one option, Stu needed to make that stop.

Oilers overall sucked, Skinner should have had at least one of those, and Refs are in LA's pocket.
Flat out need to be better though. Not one high danger scoring chance.

I'm not the biggest Skinner fan but that first one beats probably 90% of most goalies. That was a straight up laser one-timed from the slot.
I'm not blaming Stu for our lack of offence or the score. But that 2nd goal sucked.
