The goalie is 100% the reason for the loss, but it would be nice to get a single positive contribution from the highest paid player on the ice for us. Guy has been a steaming pile of turds this year.

I'm just out on Timo this year.

I'm very concerned given the sample size is now bordering on 70 games, but I'm just out on this year and will see what happens next year.

Maybe it's just going to be a mulligan type year.

He has built one of top contenders for the next decade. Happy to be openly critical of moves like not firing Ruff and Dave Rogaine and failing to address goalie but he has done SO MUCH more good than bad.

I'm all for calling this out when it actually happens, but how do you classify any of the goals tonight as "garbage time" when the Devils were within one or two goals the entire time? This only makes sense in situations when they're getting shithoused.

I don’t agree with this guy ever but 100% spot on. Goaltending won’t fix everything but it will go a long way. Just don’t get the people on here that are fine punting the season because they don’t want to spend to get a goalie or even say the team doesn’t deserve it. I freaking deserve it we deserve it.

I hate that I was right when I said I didn't believe the team had turned a corner after the Avs victory.

This team is playing .500-level hockey right now and are going to .500 its way all the way out of the playoffs.

The worst part is that we won't be mathematically eliminated until more than likely the final week of the season at this rate.

Pure slow torture is this season.

When did I say goaltending or D wasn't a problem. It is major key problem. No one is disagreeing with that. We aren't also getting timely offense when it matters early either.

"Timely offense" in this case is just a deflective way of describing that this team gives up too many goals too easily and quickly. The Flames tied the game two f***ing minutes after the Devils went up 1-0. You wanted them to get the 2-0 lead within that time span? Does that sound reasonable?

I'm glad to see most are in agreement this loss is on the coward goalie. Who probably still will refuse to talk to the media tonight. I can't believe the fans cheer and the MC f***in drumming up a chant for him for making a save on a point shot in the 1st period.

There needs to be a WAIVE VI-TEK! chant more than the Fire Lindy chant from last year.

And they'll let this stupid motherf***er play in the stadium game too.

They win this game with a normal goaltending performance. Idk why some are shitting on the skaters and coach tonight with that good, not great but good performance. The issue was in the crease tonight.

I think I prefer this to him trying to move deck chairs on the Titanic. Injuries piled up so quickly and the team just wasn’t ready to play. I think not firing Lindy is 100% on him and wrong but moves outside that it’s hard to explain.

Oh it's not an option at all but I'm at the point where he's just as responsible for the poor goaltending and coaching as he is for everything else. The poor goaltending and coaching has put a great young team in a bad spot. I'm not OK with throwing away seasons because of the same problem every year.

If you trade for Timo and Toffoli you are saying that this is a team that can win now. If you keep this goalie and coach you are saying they can't.

Which is it?
