Our d was luck Blackwood showed up after the two quick ones. What a festival of giveaways. They couldn't handle the Bs forecheck at all.
 
AJ Greer sounds like a Nascar driver or potentially a baseball pitcher.

I'm not sure how he's been a regular on the best team in the league this year. He looked like a bum that wasn't even as good as f***in Kevin Rooney when he played here.

I know, he made some nice saves afterwards and he bounced back. But that's the thing. How can you stone Pastrnak on a breakaway right after doing a wild 360 in your crease to nowhere to allow a goal? The inconsistency is killer and he cannot be relied upon. Gives up 1-2 clunkers a game, but other than that he's fine. It doesn't add up.

Yeah you're right imagine what happens if we have to play four games instead of three in the dark dump of MSG. We still need two points to clinch 2nd in the division. Like... it literally doesn't matter.

They beat either the Sabres or Caps in regulation they win out over the Rangers for home ice. They should win both of those games.

It wasn’t a good performance tonight, but not a particular worrisome performance given the Bruins have done this to everyone.

Honestly if it was Vitek he stops that second goal and probably lets in one of the OMGZ reflex saves Blackwood made at some point, it really didn't come down to the goalie in the end amazingly enough considering they only scored one goal.

People are gonna look at the score and claim it was a close game. No. I don’t think the devils had a single good scoring chance the entire third period. Bruins could have easily won this by a higher score if they didn’t shoot wide on a bunch of chances they had.

The Devils got absolutely schooled here. I don’t know if the bruins will win the Stanley cup but this was a championship level defensive display. The devils should be taking notes.

Really? They just played "the greatest team in the history of mankind", in their own building, with a history on the line and lost by one goal.

I don't know, maybe if they scored on a 4 minute PP things might have been different? Maybe if they started better? Maybe if they played 3 games in 6 nights the older slower team would show some cracks?

Yeah, I'm not scared. Sorry.

I'd argue Vitek stops both. But no need to go into that. It's just that your goalie has to steal one once in a while. Tonight was a very good candidate, I didn't think both goals were tough stops at all.

We didn't generate enough. Boston went into the turtle shell and refused to let us through the neutral zone.

We didn't adjust to that

Meanwhile if we scored 2 or 3 goals we would be and should be saying he stole us one.

Scoring chances were 36-27 Boston tonight and the High Danger chances were even at 13 at all situations.
