I’m never one to go big on the moral victory parade. But i did like to see that after that first period they hung right there in this game. And didn’t just pack it in and get manhandled after falling behind 2-0 quickly. Despite the second goal being pretty rough, it was a real strong game from Blackwood overall. But, boy, Boston is really good top to bottom. Goes without saying obviously. Side note, the 6 on 5 was terrible, but I’m not gonna harp that much on it.

I don't think this was the devils at their best either though.

Much rather have Greer than Wood
As someone that can't stand current Wood, he sucks.

I don't know why there were a couple people that liked him here last year and suggested that he be a regular this year.

I'm pretty sure he isn't good. Isn't he about as old as Wood? Or close enough? And this is his first full season in the NHL?

He scores a bunch of fluke Bobby Farnham goals on soft wristers from the circle past the goalie's glove or blocker or that just leak through them.

I don't understand the fascination with this guy. Not that there was many, but I remember cringing at the suggestion that he be a regular this year when he got a couple games last year.

Boston commits a bunch of penalties and has a headshot in the last few minutes and the broadcast wants to talk about the Meier hit being too late even though there is still time on a clock and the Bruins just tried to score.

The Meier hit was definitely not too late. Say that as a proud Bruins fan.

Fun game tonight. Nothing about it felt meaningless the way the teams played.

Cheers.

Carolina fans should be thanking their lucky stars that the League is SH*T and not Fair at all because it's that reason that they dodged a bullet from us gaining ground on them for the Division.

BTW, F.U. LINDY FOR STARTING BLACKWOOD!

F.U!

AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR "durrr...Blackwood played well despite the 2nd goal...." OH SHUT THE HELL UP!! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY APOLOGISTS.

Blackwood should NOT HAVE PLAYED. PERIOD.

Vitek had enough REST since Columbus.

This was a BULLSH-T DECISION by Lindy and makes me look forward to, hopefully, have Mr. Golf Cart guy take over next season.

Kept it 2-1. Hurts that this goes to OT if Mac doesn't give up the 2nd goal, but that's always the story with him. Makes some really nice saves, but lets 1-2 clunkers in.

Learn from this game. There was some good, there was some bad. Losing 2-1 to a team having a historic season doesn't change one ounce of what this team is and is capable of.

Aside from coming away empty handed, I liked that they didn’t back down and were right in it til the end against the undisputed beast of the league. Very good to see at this point of the year. And agreed really hope McLeod is fine.

Need to be willing to dump it in more. Bruins took away all of the entries in the 3rd.
Ya. If the opponents wants to give you no space you need to put the puck behind them and make them turn to recover it.

Make them pay a few times and they’ll start to give you more space again.

Hopefully it's the last we see of him here.

I'm not gonna pump his tires after this game. Jonathan Quick had a pretty good game today. He allowed 1 goal and lost in the shootout.

And he's probably worse than Blackwood at this point, if not just due to being old and broken down.

That 4th line is gonna be f***ed up if McLeod is out for any length of time. Plus the PK.....

Gonna need Lazar back soon.
