Forward group is amazing, defense and goaltending are embarrassing
Pair them with Nashville and you have a complete roster.

The hang-up on "developed by" makes a few guys leave the list since they moved on before finishing their development (Brandon Hagel, Cory Sarich, Dennis Wideman, Zack Kassian come to mind).

So... instead, just going with who was there:

:sabres

Thomas Vanek - Jack Eichel - Sam Reinhart
Tyler Ennis - Derek Roy - Jason Pominville
Marcus Foligno - Casey Mittelstadt - Drew Stafford
Danny Paille - Dylan Cousins - Victor Olofsson
Spare: Paul Gaustad -

Rasmus Dahlin - Tyler Myers
Jay McKee - Rasmus Ristolainen
Henrik Tallinder -

Fan of team founded in 1990 arbitrarily selects starting in 1990.
Tbf , there was a lot of teams added in the 90’s, not to mention they started 2-3 years later. 92/93 on ice.
This gives a more equal footing for all the new teams, rather than picking Maurice Richard, Bobby Hull and Gordie Howe. Who were ages ago.

Sure you can pick any parameters you want,
Poster went with drafted players this time instead of the played for team option.

Start a new poll, with whatever starting year you would like then.

As a Pens fan, so many ways this can go and not have a wrong answer, And do a fantasy lineup all day but my stab:

Mario Lemieux-Ron Francis- Jaromir Jagr
Jake Guentzel-Sidney Crosby-Evgeni Malkin
Kevin Stevens-Jordan Staal-Patrik Hornqvist
Bob Errey-Bryan Trottier-Joey Mullen

(The extra forward is a wild crap shoot since we had so many to pick from its almost impossible to pick 2 and at best it'll come off as popularity contest)

Paul Coffey-Larry Murphy
Ulf Samuelsson-Kris Letang
Sergi Gonchar-Darrius Kasparaitis
(Brooks Orpik, Brian Dumoulin)

Tom Barrasso
Ken Wregget
(MAF)
some weren’t Pens draft picks.

Not cool crafting the rules so I can't include Lindros, despite him not playing an NHL game for another team before joining the Flyers.

Also, it's not an all-time team if it doesn't include the entire franchise's history, which again cuts out a ton of names that actually belong here.

That said:

Giroux-Forsberg-Gagne
van Riemsdyk-Couturier-Konecny
Farabee-Carter-Renberg
Laughton-Richards-Williams
Lindblom

Sanheim-Yushkevich
Provorov-Gostisbehere
York-Therien
Niinimaa

I refuse to consider the player who should go here on talent alone, so
Cechmanek
Boucher

This is a nightmare for the Flyers, who have the patience of a magpie and rarely have a full draft. Most of our best picks only played for us for about 3 years before we traded them off. I'm limiting myself to people who played at least 150 NHL games, and at least 100 for the Flyers. (Forsberg is here on a technicality; he played exactly 100 games as a Flyer, though later in his career. If I can't get Lindros, I'm taking him.)
Forsberg was not developed by the Flyers

Guentzel-Crosby-Jagr
Naslund-Malkin-Rust
Malone-Straka-Morozov
Armstrong-Staal-Kennedy

Scuderi-Letang
Orpik-Goligoski
Whitney-Bortuzzo

Fleury
Murray
Maatta should be over Bortuzzo certainly

Rules are the players must have been drafted and developed by your team

Earliest you can go back is 1990

I'm not going to start a poll structured in a way that adds restrictions meant to have zero affect on myself. Not that self-centred.

Hard to do with so many shit picks in 34 years.

Good lists. I'd probably go with Quincey over Smith or Dandenault.

Edit - stupid on Chara and Redden.

FYI, but you have Sanderson listed twice.
Wrf happened lol
I’ll fix that Redden should be Spezza
Sens didn’t draft Redden or Chara

Redden was traded for Berard, even though neither played for their drafted teams. So didn’t include Redden, even though first NHL game was for Sens,
If Reds can count, then I’d add him.

Replace Paille and Olofsson with May and Barnaby (for more fun and excitement)
Extra spares: Afinogenov, CuBro

Replace Risto with Brian Campbell and add Smehlik to the D. Sekera as extra spare. I included Zadorov and McNabb on my list, but I could see the argument they weren't with Buffalo long enough.

My edit was that I was totally stupid forgetting the Redden/Berard trade way back in the day, and that Chara was in the Yashin deal. One of those weird deals that makes this type of exercise more challenging. The Isle were such train-wreck back then I must be blocking those deals out of my mind! ;o)
