Not cool crafting the rules so I can't include Lindros, despite him not playing an NHL game for another team before joining the Flyers.

Also, it's not an all-time team if it doesn't include the entire franchise's history, which again cuts out a ton of names that actually belong here.

That said:

Giroux-Forsberg-Gagne
van Riemsdyk-Couturier-Konecny
Farabee-Carter-Renberg
Laughton-Richards-Williams
Lindblom

Sanheim-Yushkevich
Provorov-Gostisbehere
York-Therien
Niinimaa

I refuse to consider the player who should go here on talent alone, so
Cechmanek
Boucher

This is a nightmare for the Flyers, who have the patience of a magpie and rarely have a full draft. Most of our best picks only played for us for about 3 years before we traded them off. I'm limiting myself to people who played at least 150 NHL games, and at least 100 for the Flyers. (Forsberg is here on a technicality; he played exactly 100 games as a Flyer, though later in his career. If I can't get Lindros, I'm taking him.)
Yeah rules really handicap Flyers with the whole Lindros/Forsberg situation.

I see a lot inclueding players they drafted but became house hold names with different teams

As for Panthers. I'm even scared to try to do one with just Panthers draft players and that were successful in Florida

Huberdeau-Barkov-Horton
Booth-Weiss-Dadonov
Niedermayer-Trocheck-Dvorak
Campbell-Lundell-Hagman

Bouwmeester-Ekblad
Weegar-Jovanovski
Kulikov-Svehla

Markström
Knight

That defense is solid tho

Oilers:

Smyth - McDavid - Hemsky
Hall - Draisaitl - Eberle
RNH - Arnott - Comrie
Satan - Horcoff - Stoll

Nurse - Bouchard
Klefbom - Petry
Poti - Greene

Dubnyk
Skinner

The defence isn't as deep as you would expect for 34 years of drafting.

For the Wild the top six are pretty darn good but things kind of taper off after that. Defense is tough too because the franchise has been good at training for young assets and helping them turn into great players, like Faber and Spurgeon.

Kaprizov - Eriksson Ek - Gaborik
Boldy - Koivu - Tuch
Greenway - Granlund - Zucker
Haula - Bouchard - Clutterbuck
xDuhaime

Brodin - Burns
Leddy - Dumba
Schultz - Scandella
xStoner

Backstrom
Kuemper

This team sucks. LOL
A small change:

Smyth McDavid Eberle
Hall Draisaitl Hemsky
Nuge Arnott Satan
Cogliano Horcoff Gagner

Holloway should be better long run but for the 4th line Cogliano has had a solid career.

Rules are the players must have been drafted and developed by your team

Earliest you can go back is 1990

For the Sens my pick is

Stuzle - Spezza - Alfredson
Tkachuk - Yashin - Hossa
Havlat - Bonk - Stone
Greig - Fisher - Neil

Method - Karlsson
Phillips - Volchenkov
Sanderson - Zub

Emery
Forsberg

Methot, Zub and Forsberg weren't drafted and developed by the Sens. Good lineup regardless though.

That's one pathetic group of forwards. A mix of crackheads, career injured players and headcases. They would 99% rely on their defense and goalie

I was wavering on that one too. I remembered him being super frustrating so my personal bias got in the way haha

The forward group is actually very strong. The defense of course leaves room for improvement but such has been the Oiler's plight over the last two decades. Like Other teams the 1990 cutoff really impacts the team.

1990.
and had to be drafted.

We lose out on:
Theo Fleury (1987)
Jarome Iginla (Drafted by Dallas, never played a game for them)
Mark Giordano (Undrafted)

Calgary really suffers on that 1990 cut-off. We were a basement dwelling team dying on the Canadian dollar who drafted horribly. The two best players we drafted in the 90's were Cory Stillman and Derek Morris. Yes. You read that correctly

Kadri - Drury - Kamensky

Bourque - Makar
Toews - Blake

Not using Kariya or Selanne cause let's face it, no Av's want to remember that season. Also not using rentals that came at the trade deadline and left after the season ended.

***ok o was at work and didn't do a good job reading the rules, specifically the drafted part.***

To try to abide by the rules for just the Avs (aka no Nordiques picks)

Landeskog - MacKinnon - Rantanen
ROR - Duchene - Svatos
Tanguay - Stastny - Vrbata
Wolski - Jost/Newhook - Stewart

Byram - Skoula

Snow and to a certain extent Milbury did a good job drafting given all the circumstances they faced. definitely one of the better lineups

Can we sub Connolly for Bertuzzi and bump him to RW4 in favor of Torres?

And maybe McCabe for Spurgeon?

But overall a solid squad that really just makes me sad...

I'd have Bertuzzi over Connolly personally but when making the 4th line I used TB4LIH mentality when choosing Torres

I think Spurgeon is better but I'd be fine giving it to McCabe considering how he never even signed his ELC

The amount of talent Milbury scouting staff found along with Snow steals and whiffs and how Bridgeport hasn't produced a legit foward prospect for us in in over a decade outside maybe Holmstrom and MacLean

I honestly wanted to do this to see who would be the best drafting team since 1990

but yeah I should have allowed prospects aquired in trades i have to re do my team I forgot Methot played for the Jackets
