Laughable how people here suddenly act that Iafallo and Kupari are world class players.

I am here regularly but they were labeled mid round pick and bust before this trade happened. People hate PLD this much, I guess.

Vilardi was the player that should never have been dealt.

PLD outscored Iafallo by a paltry 13 points this year, with Iafallo at half the salary and none of the PP time.

The PLD hate is very well justified. He is atrocious.

Teams were probably at least told to save it for a day like today - day 1 of 2 day break - so as to distract as little as possible

There's actually no rule at all about trading during the Playoffs, it's just been reported that it's a little bit frowned upon by the NHL

Today as y is a travel day so its s cleared day for trades.

These are the kings goaltenders- only Kuemper and Rittich are signed. Unless they move Kuemper they will roll with Kuemper and Rittich. They made the playoffs with a combo of Copley, Rittich and Talbot.

Kuemper looks a bit washed which isn’t surprising given his age but considering a worse bad old goalie in Talbot put up pretty good numbers behind that Kings “system”, I’d bet on Kuemper having a statistical bounce back year even if those stats amount to a bit of fool’s gold at the end of the day.

PLD is capable of putting up 50-70 points but they're the most empty points you can expect. He will always give zero effort, will provide absolutely no defense, and will drain the life out of the ice every moment he is out there. If a team wins a cup with him I'll eat my hat. He is the equivalent drinking 100 diet Cokes a day, just an absolute waste. Biggest boat anchor in the league. Watching him play will show you someone go through the motions of a job they absolutely hate and loathe because it provides them a guaranteed lottery ticket for the rest of their life and they are counting the days until retirement.
