Whether you understand it or not is irrelevant. As I said, you can think it was genius. I think that the consensus is that sitting 2 of your top 3 to match lines when you are winning by 4 goals is stupid, and Finland wasn't a threat UNTIL he did it.I still don't understand why what he did is bad coaching. Within a game he felt he couldn't lose, he was trying different things, Because a fan thinks that is defineable as bad coaching doesn't make sense to me.
But you tell me: what is the textbook definition of "bad" coaching? Because you seem uncomfortable with admitting its a subjective thing. Subjectively, moves that hamper the performance of your team and give the other team a boost are bad coaching to me.
And again, I wasn't even arguing about what WAS bad coaching, I merely said it was ridiculous logic to say people shouldn't point out <what they subjectively see as> bad coaching simply because the team won.
