Thought Othmann’s line was getting hemmed in a few times in the 1st - even Bedard’s goal came after a 90 second shift. Is there a fancy stats site for this tourney?
Wow Canada does not get called for a delay of game penalty for coach’s challenge. Imagine if that happened in the NHL.

What happened to Othmann? Barey played at all in the 2nd period. I’m just starting the 3rd now…does he ever play again?

Good for Othmann's development to be punished for bad defensive effort on a big stage if that's the case, haven't watched closely enough to tell if it's the coach throwing players in the dog's house Quinn style or if it's warranted.
Young 2 way Centers are harder to find over top 4 defenseman. I’d go with the center and I am a huge Schneider fan and the draft was better depth for centers that year.

Yea, watching Othmann he definitely had a couple very rough defensive moments in his own zone. One was REALLY bad….he plays way too deep for a winger and then he ended up chasing a guy all over the defensive zone then stayed in the bottom right spot where the RD normally hovers around throwing everyone off in the defensive zone.
I’m hoping that is a part of his game he really tries to focus on next season in Juniors. His offense is already there but needs to become more of a complete player in all zones.
