Didn't check the FIFA rulebook, but the above FA rule should be the only and most sensible answer to the previous offside question.

Once again I'm completely out of touch with the rules because I do not see how your arms/hands can be offside when any touch with the ball via hand is against the rules henceforth making it a moot situation.

It looks worse for Morocco than it is as they have ceded possession to Canada and are allowing them open space to venture forward. Morocco have been defending the final third well and are allowing Canada no clear opportunities at goal.
