I don't believe women's hockey should be removed because of dominance. Lot of sports in the Olympics are filled with 2 titans and everyone else. Women's soccer, softball, baseball, etc. Heck, for many of those Japan has dominated softball or baseball. It was either them or South Korea.

USA had some good chances off Canada turnovers but Canada made some solid saves.

1-0 Canada after 1.

Hockey goes that way sometimes.

The US had some chances and Desbiens looked a little shaky on those turnovers. That is normal when pucks are coming at you all the time.

The US PP looked awful. The passing and shot selection was poor or Canada was playing superb defense.

Canada being overwhelmed. They better adjust or else the Americans will just attacking waves and we will lose for sure.

On a back to back its not surprising and they played even later than they were supposed to. I expect if they have a 2 goal lead entering the third they're good otherwise it might be interesting

That poor ref.. she got sliced! Total accident but that is a permanent scar for sure.

Surprised players wear full shields but not refs. Maybe that's normal.

Nice pressure and goal by US... Nice block by Canadian D but bad bounce right back to US girl. 1-1.. no shock.

The girls need to up their game a bit here, the Americans are definitely the better team through 30 mins so far.

After 2014 though, I'm never counting them out of a match again
