The Russian Coach has no class, putting out Malkin with 3 min left to kill a penalty, I hope the canadians kick their asses tomarrow. But i am perdicting a Russia win tomarrow, they are just to strong and fast.

Well another lesson for Walt and the college boys. As I said earlier, until USA hockey picks and plays the best players instead of their favorite sons, they will always be hoping for another "miracle on ice." A true embarassment tonight.

It's funny seeing all of the "east Van" fans coming out in droves for this game - What a total embarrassment they've been to the tournament so far.

That's the last time you'll see Vancouver host a WJC for decades..

They are. It's ridiculous. Whenever my team is out I always want to root for my neighbors because why would I want to root for someone else? But classless people like the Canadian fans up there make it so hard and it has gotten really bad in this tournament, from beginning to now. Really poor imo. I would be very disappoint in my fellow fans if they did that to Canada.

So you cheer for the Devils and Islanders too? I'm impressed.

Then I'd say you're picking your team for different reasons than others.

Why can't they just not like the team? Why should team USA or any other team for that matter automatically be loved by everyone?

I would have loved to have seen a rested American team play Russia.
These teams are evenly matched, but fatigue is catching up to the Americans.
There isn't a dime's worth of difference between the top 3 teams in this tourney (Canada, US, Russia).
It isn't over yet, but kudos to the American team for a gutsy effort under trying circumstances. The future of American hockey looks very bright indeed.
