Happy the Czechs won. Too bad this tournmaent doesn't have Russian players, who deserve to be here. It cheapens the value of Canadians getting bumped pre-medals. Still pretty funny though

If we had Bedard, Poitras, Fantilli, Korchinski etc I think we would have done better.

Pretty bold assumption. one other thing….we did have Poitras but in hindsight I kind of wish we didnt. He was probably the biggest disappointment in my opinion

Well, that was quite unexpected, especially after Jiříček (after 1st match) and Sapoušek ended with injury. I think in the 1st period we were better, Canada didn´t know what to play and from the beginning of the second + min. half of the third they were in solid pressure, great skating, but we were lucky with Hrabal, goal post and all players blocked many shots. From the half of the third period I think game was quite even and it seemed that when it was more close to OT, Canada was more and more nervous. We got lucky with that shot definitely. But that´s it, you need bit of luck + good goaltending.

Plenty of players did not play like they usually can and that's on the coach for not building a good team chemistry. But Jordan Dumais is my biggest disappointment, last year he got 140 pts in 64 games!! 2 pts in 5 games playing on the PP and top line minutes is unacceptable.

Happy for the Czechs. Canadas roster was concerning from day one and after losing Molendyk and Luneau pre tournament the blue line did not look good.

This really was never a standout group of 04s even with the missing guys. Look at how the Shane Wright hype fizzled out. The 03s and 05s are much stronger years for Canada.

Canada was not good enough period, Czechia, USA, Sweden were all better. I'm Canadian but it's good thing to see other countries win. It's not just our game anymore guys and it's a good thing

It is still our game.. just add Bedard to this roster and it's a whole different tournament
