Prospect Info: WJC 2022 part 2: Picking Back Up In August

For a guy who got no PP time and got bumped down in the lineup, he said Roy got four pts lol

Yup. 1 goal and 3 assists.

He has 5 pts in 2 games so far this tournament.

And when you consider what you say, goes down in the line-up and gets limited PP time, it's impressive.

Hopefully he keeps this going when the competition gets tougher.

Joshua Roy is a impressive prospect for sure.

Can't believe we got that type of talent at 5th round. He play a really good simple game at WJC so far and he produce points.

He is good in details of the game, this guy have top 6 potential, not doubt about that. His hockey IQ, his hands and shot are really really good. He just need to work on skating, but that's a thing to easily work, just grab a great coach on skating, that's it.

Roy did what he could on the top line but it's clear he's better being the top dog on his line vs trying to open up space for two other guys.

Foerster should be out for Kidney.

I know Roy does need to be a better skater but his IQ and competitiveness will allow him to play. He's really good at somehow getting on top of people and forcing turnovers

It's no guarantee that skating will improve even with a good skating coach.
