I wouldn’t mind Kasper with a late first depending who’s available.
Russia already walking all over Switzerland
I don't think I've seen a draft list that has him in the top 3.
In the 1st intermission today Bob McKenzie showed his top 10 draft eligibles playing in this tournament based on his conversations with NHL scouts. Jiricek was #7 and that was pre-injury. This list doesn't include players not in the WJC like Savoie, Geekie and Mirochnichenko (or however you spell it).
This year is a minefield, I would hate to be the Head Scout.
His skating mechanics look oddKasper has some nice tools but was pretty weak on that most recent Finnish goal
Years like this and last, you go back to basics. Skill, size, speed and roll the dice. This year is a minefield, I would hate to be the Head Scout.
He is like Olofsson. Good on draws, good positioning, average hockey skills.Kapanen is a non-prospect.

Kasper likely going mid first; he isn't gonna be able to show much with Austria but strong skater, strong compete, got offense to his game.
Not necessarily a late one. If they get a first for Chiarot, it will be in the 22-32 range.
I agree that he has a lot of tools and he is pretty impressive in Sweden this year. Sad that his team won’t be able to support him much this tournament.
Though we all know how players can be pretty interchangeable in that zone, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he is there around 20-25.
He would be a good add, that they go 1D/1F or 2F he could be a great value pick. Where it’s more forward heavy at top of draft a lot of defensemen are rising on the board in the second half of the first round.
I want 3 firsts so hopefully we can find a way to grab Kasper, Mesar or Kulich
He's dynamic when he has open ice when that ice is taken away he tends to not be able to do much. I question his abilities at 5 on 5 in games where there's actual checking. He becomes invisible. There's been a few games where I had concerns how well he translates to NHL. A lot of his highlights are off PPs. He has obvious elite skills, but I don't see an NHL-type game from him ... yet.
However, the effort is always there. He plays at a high pace, the skating is outstanding, and his shot/release is elite.
And where was Seider ranked in his draft year? I dont recall one list having him top 10. I had him 4th OV.

well f***
The slow motion replay wasn’t wrong.
For all the hype the kid gets that hit attempt was a very poor decision IMO.
Dumb hit attempt to begin with. All cause loser ass Cuylle can't take a hit
I don’t disagree on this point.Habs have never taken a right shot defenseman in the first round who's made poor decisions
