The whole point of vaccinations was to lessen the effects to a common cold/flu rather than the pneumonia that was the original virus that created extreme stress on hospitals.

I know people who have tested positive recently (not myself) and symptoms are none or mild.

12,000 cases in Ontario and barely any hospitalizations.

It's working. It's time to move on.
I agree!
Lots of people will still stay cautious for a while, like myself and keep my distance, wear a mask, wash my hands more often and so on.

I also heard about a group of coaches that got into an elevator with an elderly couple that refused to mask. They asked them to mask, and the kid/grandkid, said “don’t be so woke.” The stupidity transcends generations.
Meh. Coaches could have stepped out. Always blaming others.

I remember people saying the same thing about the chicken pox. Now how many of my generation are suffering and dying from Shingles?

You expose yourself to a virus, any virus, at your own peril.

I had chicken pox (born before all the child diseases got vaccines) and I got shingles after high school which is not very common. It is a very nasty thing, started as a rash on my back, then I got high fever and finally blisters on my back that popped. Took quite a long time before I got OK, very strange pain from those nerves. I am vaccinated against it now.

The shingles vaccine has a time limit. You may want to repeat every 5 to 10 years.

After the memorial cup finals its probably fine.

But they should restart the whole selection (drafting of players) as well.

They should build a bubble to hold U18 and U20 at the same spot, male and female.

Memorial Cup is early June this year. Don't think NHL would want WJC up against NHL playoffs. Think June & August are terrible months to hold it. Too many events.

July is dead of summer. Ice will be terrible. Plus, draft & draft camps.

April-May playoffs in all leagues world over & World Championship.

February/March seems best possible time, but don't think they can turn around that quickly.
