Me too. If you don't think you're better than your peers in your field of work you should be fired.I'm talking about other teams, not general observers of hockey.

I think his point still stands. When you’re in an elite league, the people running the show tend to be elite in their respective fields and will generally assume that they know better than others, even though the other teams, players, employees and management, are elite too. For better or worse we see this in the draft when the Rangers select left field picks, implying they know something others do not.I'm talking about other teams, not general observers of hockey.
So is he playing back in the KHL now or is this an old clip?
He scores so many goals five hole lol
Lost art, most five hole goals these days are side dekes forcing goalies to open up.
Yeah, his wrist shot is so quick. It's almost impossible to react
And then there’s Kucherov.. shot? Who needs a shot!?
I hope he works on slapshots/one-timers if he’s going to be a prolific goal scorer in the NHL. Never seen him take one which is kinda worrisome, if he can develop that he’ll definitely be better than Wahlstrom. Do you guys think that’s a skill that he could likely develop?
I am not worried about the one-timer. That's not the type of player he is. He is much more versatile than Wahlstrom (I hate that this comparison is going to be made for the next 10 years).
Who knows, could be a very pleasant comparison too!
I remember how many at this place rooted for Robbie Schremp back in the day. Not sure if Montoya is much of a consolation price but most picks made before Schremp was good picks.
I can’t rule out many outcomes, but I like our odds on this one. We complain on Clarke for reaching. Had he ‘reached’ and not picked guys like Griffith Reinhardt, Ryan Strome, Sam Bennet and the likes we would be pretty thankful about it after a while.
I didn't like the pick at first because Dobson and Bouchard were on the board. After thinking about it though I'm good with it.
If you're the Rangers front office you have to believe that at least 2 out of the stockpile of young D men you've brought in are going to pan out. I'm including the two D taken in this year's first round as well. Taking that into account Kravtsov addresses the team's biggest need - a dynamic forward who can create his own chances. I like it.
Coming from a former goalie who has played at a high level, I'd much rather face a shooter with a hard snapshot then someone with a release like that.
You cant gei a read on the shot with that quick of a release.

To @Ola , I also like our odds of Clarke’s choosing well between Kravtsov and Wahlstrom.
To @Lias Andersson , I’m more worried of Dobson/Bouchard turning into 1RD that this team needs more than 1st line wing. Did Gorton think Kravtsov was a safer bet than Dobson (higher % likelyhood of reaching ceiling) between these two boom options?
