But I thought he was staying there according to all Man United fans?

I can see Madrid and Juve pushing for him. I think around 75 million would get it done

There were several media reports in the summer that Pogba doesn't want to leave and instead wants to extend his contract. It's not the fans but media reports.

My bad about the last part. Didnt actually look at it. Still you can say Luke Shaw had a better season than KDB if you pick one stat and that’s it. Also you’re wrong about Pogba being a leader for France.

No, I am right. Also realised I accidentaly called Partey a top 5 midfielder, I meant Pogba, not Partey.

I think Gary makes the key point:

If he releases a statement that corrects Raiola, then he should fire him. If not, then there's fire behind the smoke.

bro it’s over. Enough is enough. Time to move on. Sell him for whatever and fill a DM need that is desperate. I’ll take VdB and Bruno all day for creative MF.

There's fire behind the smoke with this being reported regardless. If Paul was 100% committed there's now way he'd let Raiola say this sort of stuff to the media.

Years have taught me that no one is going to stop Raiola from being an asshole. He only cares about his transfer bonus. And there are literally poster here that think United should have paid him what he wanted on the Håland transfer!

It's a two way street there. Yeah Raiola is a POS but if Pogba was so against it he'd either tell Raiola to shove it or go to another agent.

Yea agents can be pieces of garbage, but ultimately it's not like players are in the dark about what their agents are doing. Not firing the agent means you either support it or you care far more about the cash he gets you than anything else.

Every time Pogba goes on international duty it’s the same shit. It’s a teammate or Deschamps talking about how he needs to move on. It’s not his agents doing.

time to go. Hopefully Juve is dumb. Loan with obligation to buy deal.

DD has never said Pogba needed to move.... :dunno:

United and Pogba need to move on from each other. It hasn't worked. It's peak Raiola releasing this before two big games.

I mean, Raiola is a snake, but... I also don't quite blame him either. His guy isn't playing. He was basically only played midweek because Ole was resting guys. McTominay and Fred might start over him. Raiola is paid to get the most money possible, and if he's not stirring it up, he isn't doing what he is paid for.

It's in Pogba's best interest to either get playing time, so he can improve his value, and then move, or United to cut bait and move him now in winter.

Personally I don't get why the agent gets the blame. I would expect Haaland to get rid of Raiola in a flash if he starts to behave like he does on behalf of Pogba. I get the odd comment to drum up some urgency among those that might be interested, but this constant "%"!%!? That isn't happening without Pogba thinking it is fine.

Which is why I don't understand what United are !%%!!% about for. One of the nice things about being rich is that you can afford to get rid of the players that haven't worked out. And OGS of all people should really know how what it means playing for a proper team. When he played for Norway that team consistently beat teams with better players - because they were a team. With United he clearly played in a team with some brilliant individual players as well - but they were also a team. No-one ever considered United anything else than a proper team back then.

And with his contract running out there shouldn't be that much book value left in Utd's accounts. So from an accounting perspective what would be stopping Utd selling Pogba fairly cheaply? I get why clubs don't just quickly sell anyone that makes a fuss because of the precedence that might set - but surely that point is firmly made?

For the right price Pogba is worth a punt. Maybe he'll listen to C. Ronaldo?

I'd love for a french team to sign him, but I'm guessing only PSG can. Verratti and Pogba together... wow... Put a good ball retreiver next to those two and the magic can start.
Pogba/Kante/Rabiot were absolutely amazing together.

But they're losing Mbappe and that sets them further back in Europe than bringing in Pogba.
