That’s fair and you may be right in the long run but that’s not why he couldn’t be in Iafallos spot with Vilardi out or with Names and Iaffaloo on a very good 4th line with Villardi back.

I don't see any Jets player/prospect as a C, because they suck at developing them .

We needed a second line centre, Perfetti is not that atm so Chevy traded for Monahan, we needed another reliable scorer in our top six Perfetti wasn't providing that lately so Chevy traded for Toffoli. Now I'm not ready to give up on Perfetti but right now for this team he is on the outside looking in.

The Jets have 5 more years of team control after this season, there is no looking for more opportunity unless he signs an offer sheet as a RFA or goes to play in Europe.

That's a fair assessment, though I would like to see if he can carve out a role on the 4th line. The kid sure hit a wall and will need to battle like hell to get past it, but that can't happen from the PB. He has all the hockey smarts in the world, but hopefully this offseason he works on strength and speed as that is his 2 biggest obstacles at this point.

Monahan isn't a second line centre. Toffolii is a great RW add. None of this had anything to do with Perfetti. He should be in the lineup in an everyday role with these players.

How much rope do you think Perfetan gets, guy did squat for 2 months in a top 6 role and you want to see more of nothing!?

Not sure Perfetan will ever be a legit top 6, he sure isn't although he was thrust into that role, a real pretend top 6 if ever there was IMO!
