Alexandre Doucet with a hat-trick yesterday, good for 52 goals, tops in the Q. He played all situations (PP, shorthanded, 5v5) and his presence was felt on the ice every time he was on it. Has a sneaky good pass, too.

All of this on the 3rd line in Halifax!

A few questions with ~1/4 of the season left:

Is Berggren still a prospect?

Is Soderbloom still a prospect?

Who is more likely to get a contract, Antti Tuomisto or Robert Mastrosimone?

What second round NCAA pick is more likely to play in the system (GR or DET) in the 2024-2025 season: Dylan James or Shai Buium?

Who plays in DET first: Marco Kasper, Simon Edvinsson, or William Wallinder?

Who has the best chance to play in the NHL: Dimitri Buchnelnikov, Kirill Tyutyayav, Amadeus Lombardi?

Does the Alexandre Doucet signing signal the end for Pasquale Zito in the organization?

Thought these would be fun to hypothesize and look back on.

Bernie no, Soda yes IMHO. Not sure about 3&4. I would guess Simon first. Buchnelnikov next. No idea on those 2. Those are my answers/guesses.

He's only the 12th player in the QMJHL in the last decade to score 50 goals. Mantha did it twice!

4th in goal-scoring in the entire NCAA and one of the top defensive forwards in his conference? Man, his linemates have been working harder to drag him up than I realized.

Impressive how they were able to consistently bank pucks off of the blade of his stick when he was pretending to shoot an imaginary puck.
